The Gila Community Foundation is excited to welcome three new board members whose expertise and dedication will strengthen our mission.
Katelyn Church brings her experience as Coordinator of Technology for the Cobre Consolidated School District and her background as an ordained minister, public speaker, and nonprofit volunteer. Her passion for education, technology, and community service makes her a valuable addition.
April Crosby is a retired philosophy professor and university administrator who has served on multiple nonprofit boards, most recently with The Gila Valley Library. A long-time advocate for public lands and community service, she brings years of leadership experience and dedication to rural communities.
Peggy Hutchinson, our new Treasurer, has been deeply involved in local nonprofits since retiring to Silver City, including the Southwest Word Fiesta, Youth Mural Program, and Give Grandly. A founding member of the original Grant County Community Foundation, she is thrilled to support the foundation’s next chapter.
We are grateful for their commitment and excited for the impact they will bring to our community. Please join us in welcoming Katelyn, April, and Peggy to the GCF team!
