Fandango Nuevomexicano

Beneath New Mexico’s wide skies, a music older than memory still plays the songs of our ancestors. These melodies have traveled from generation to generation, carrying stories of family, resilience, and celebration. They are more than just music. They are the heartbeat of our communities.

Now, it’s our turn to make sure that heartbeat never fades. Fandango Nuevomexicano is where tradition comes alive. It’s a place where adults reconnect with their heritage, share the stage with master folk artists, and take their place in a story much bigger than themselves. This is a camp for adults, because adults are the carriers of culture, the ones who pass it on and keep it strong. Children 16-17 years of age are allowed with a guardian.

When you give, you’re doing more than sponsoring a participant, you’re helping to protect a living tradition. You’re ensuring the voices of the past are honored in the present, carried forward with strength and pride.
