Since 2017, The 30 Something group has partnered with us to award an annual $30,000 grant to a deserving nonprofit in southwest New Mexico. The Future Forge, a dynamic makerspace and community hub, is one of our success stories. By leveraging the Gila Community Foundation’s fiscal sponsorship and strategic guidance, The Future Forge successfully transitioned into its own 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since then, it has expanded its services, offering critical programming in workforce development, STEAM education, and youth engagement. Their journey from a sponsored project to a thriving nonprofit showcases the impact of our support in helping innovative organizations reach their potential.

Our partnership with the Hermosa Project reflects our commitment to protecting the natural beauty and resources of Grant County. Through our grant-making programs, we have provided essential funding and guidance to help this conservation effort flourish. The Hermosa Project is dedicated to preserving local landscapes for future generations, and we are proud to contribute to the long-term success of this environmental initiative.

The Youth Mural Project, supported by the Gila Community Foundation, is a standout initiative that combines art education with community beautification.
