Community events bring people together, strengthen local traditions, and support the economic vitality of Silver City and Southwest New Mexico. With limited municipal funding available, the Gila Community Foundation created the Community Events Fund to help local nonprofits continue hosting the festivals, celebrations, and public gatherings our community values. Your donation helps cover essential event costs such as permits, insurance, equipment, entertainment, and other expenses that make these events possible.
Why Support Us?
Every gift stays local and is granted to qualified nonprofit organizations working to keep our community active, connected, and vibrant. You may also choose to support a specific event. If you would like your gift to benefit a particular event, please write the event name in the “In Honor of” section when making your donation. Thank you for helping keep community events alive.
